Production of metal structures

In 2007, UAB Rudesta invested 3 million Litas into the production base for metal structures. Modern and efficient equipment compliant with environmental and sanitary requirements was acquired that not only enabled us to improve our own operations, but also opened the possibility of fulfilling the highest requirements of the customers. The production of highest quality construction-related metal structures and nonstandard metal items has become possible.

Own production base for metal structures ensures that the orders are delivered on time.

Highest technologies are used in the production of steel structures, starting from raw material storage, structure welding, and ending by priming and painting. Our metal production base enables the following activities:

• Automated metal cutting using plasma/gas metal cutting station that is fully computer controlled and accurately transfers the CAD drawings into the cutting device. This metal cutting technique is simple, reliable, safe, economic, and yields high-quality cuts. The thickness of the processed metal sheets can be up to 50 mm, the maximum sheet dimensions are 2m x 6m.
• Steel girder and profile cutting by a band saw "Bomar". Precise and high-quality cuts are obtained on steel girders and profiles up to 1000 mm in diameter.
• Steel sheet shearing by a guillotine shears. The thickness of the processed sheets is 4 to 12 mm, width up to 2 m.
• Welding of metal structures. The works are performed by the welders certified by the standard EN287-1.
• Shot peening of metal surfaces. It is performed prior to painting and ensures the long service life of the metal structures. Metal structures are peened in a high-efficiency chamber (length - 14 meters, width - 4 meters) that allows the processing of large scale structures.
• Painting of metal surfaces. Metal structures are painted in the dedicated chamber (length - 14 meters, width - 4 meters) equipped with filters and air heaters. High throughput is achieved while strictly keeping to the environmental requirements.

Highly qualified professionals ensure the compliance of production all the valid European standards. The basis of metal item production at UAB Rudesta:

• Welding quality standard EN729-3:1994;
• Quality management and environmental protection (quality and environmental certificates ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004).

Capacities (per month) of the company:

• Preparation for painting of up to 4000 square meters of metal structures;
• Priming and painting of up to 4000 square meters of metal structures;
• Production of 140 - 160 tons of metal structures
